Women’s Networking in Chadstone: Three Minutes to Connect and Collaborate

What a wonderful morning of connection, conversation and collaboration we had at our Brava Women Chadstone event.

I hope you left feeling as energised as I did, because it was a great reminder of just how powerful it can be when women genuinely listen to one another and look for ways to help, connect and collaborate.

Our 3 Minutes to Connect activity was designed to do exactly that.

Rather than simply waiting for our turn to talk about our businesses, we listened with intention and made notes about the women around us, looking for:

✔ Someone we wanted to know better

✔ Someone we could potentially collaborate with

✔ Someone we could help or refer

And the results were fantastic!

There was so much engagement, so many great conversations and, most importantly, real referral opportunities and connection requests being generated and shared.

I loved hearing those moments of:

“I know someone you should meet!”

“We need to have a conversation!”

“I can help you with that.”

That is the magic of Brava.

It’s not about collecting a pile of contacts and hoping something happens.

It’s about leaving with meaningful connections and an action to take.

If you haven’t already, take a moment to look back at your notes from the event and ask yourself:

●        Who did I meet that I’d like to know better?

●        Who could I explore a collaboration with?

●        Who can I help or refer?

●        What introduction or follow-up can I make?

Your next opportunity may already be sitting in your notes.

Special thanks to Sam McFarlane for capturing some great moments from the event. You can connect with Sam here.
